We’ve landed on the AFR Fast Starters List for 2021

I’m really proud of how Propel has grown to date. Our marketing and advertising for our first three years have been non-existent, but what we have focused on is building great products.

We started Propel Ventures to change the game of product development. Our team is laser-focused on making commercially-viable products that solve real user and market problems.

As we sit here today, we’ve delivered nine products that have achieved product-market fit for our clients, that otherwise wouldn’t have been in market today. And that has changed the business trajectory for those clients in each of those segments.

As you can imagine, we’re really proud to share this news with you that Propel Ventures have placed 27th in The Australian Financial Review Fast Starters list, which recognises the fastest growing young companies in the country.

Why have we listed?

Put simply, we found a gap in the market, and we address it well. To expand on that, being on the Fast Starters list shows us that we have identified and captured a gap in the market for helping businesses accelerate in a scalable way, without sacrificing their goals. And without getting overwhelmed and unmanageable or having cost blowouts that can set them back even further.

There’s an unmet need around sustainable acceleration. Lacking scalable infrastructure is often one of the reasons why businesses fail when it’s time for rapid growth, which is an understandable learning curve in the journey. But there is a solution.

It can be expected that businesses take to augmenting with body shops, which leads to too much managerial overhead, particularly when it comes to the staff onboarding phase. You’ll just end up managing people more without the productivity required to successfully scale up and deliver the product enough to meet your goals. That’s the first issue we identified and unravelled with our leading service.

Secondly, one of the other issues that we address is that outsourcing to agencies doesn’t work well over the long term. Often, they just don’t understand product-market fit. They might build to spec, but they won’t continue to test and utilise customer insights and feedback throughout the development process. Which is what we do well, all whilst helping our clients move forward faster. With our signature methodology, The Propel Way™, we have helped dozens of businesses to do so in a relatively short amount of time, as well as positioning them to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Talk to our team today if you want product strategy and development from one of the fastest growing companies in Australia.
